The A&M-Texarkana Drama Department proudly presents Lemonade by James Prideaux starring Ellen Allard and Gracie Lipscomb.
Lemonade by James Prideaux features a pair of matrons who seek respite from the doldrums of middle age by selling spiked lemonade to highway travelers. The two trade drinks and the fantasies they have concocted to brighten their dull lives. Their lemonade grows tepid and their fantasies lose luster as they explore the desperation with which we seek to evade the mundane, the illusions small people live by, and the emptiness which can exist beneath the veneer of supposed well-being.
The play will take place this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Silvermoon on Broad (215 W. Broad St, Texarkana, TX 75501)
Students may pick up free tickets this week in the Office of Student Life (UC126). If you do not pick up your ticket this week, tickets will cost $5 at the door.
